Aquarius jpg IF YOU THINK YOUR COMMUTE IS BAD

If you don't like your commute, consider the scientists on Aquarius they have to walk only a few paces to the ultimate home office. Of course, that home is 63 feet below the water!

This June, scientists on the Aquarius, the world's only underwater laboratory, will resume their
work studying North America's largest living coral reef system. Teams of scientists from various
universities will dive for up to nine hours a day gathering data to help understand and preserve
the endangered coral reef system off the Florida Keys.

This underwater research, conducted during the International Year of the Ocean, will be linked
to the Internet so that other scientists and students can have a virtual window into the Aquarius.
