MEDIA ADVISORY NATIONAL OCEAN CONFERENCE WHAT: Demonstrating the Administration's commitment to addressing critical ocean issues, President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore will attend the National Ocean Conference in Monterey, Calif. The conference is the first of its kind. It is designed to bring together leaders from academia, business and industry, public interest groups including environmental and other non-profit interests, as well as state, local, and federal government officials who will work to form a common vision for the future of the ocean. The conference will highlight the important role the ocean plays in our daily lives.
